CRUSADER COINAGE, County of Tripoli, Bohemund VII, (1275-1287), silver gros, (4.25 g), Tripolis mint, obv. cross in tressure of twelve arcs, legend around, rev. city gate as a triple towered castle and walls crenelated all within tressure of twelve arcs, SVRIE at end of legend, (Melcalf 497-8 var. in legend, Mal. 26, Sch. IV, 21). Extremely fine, toned and very rare.
