L. SCIPIO ASIAGENUS, (c.106 B.C.), silver denarius, (3.85 g), obv. Jupiter laureate head to left, dotted border, rev. Jupiter holding sceptre and thunderbolt in quadriga to right, L.SCIP.ASIAG in exergue, T. above, (S.188, Cr.311/1d, Syd.576, RSC Cornelia 24). Toned, serrated edge struck slightly off centre, otherwise very fine and scarce.
