REPUBLIC, Anonymous, (c.215-211 B.C.), AE sextans (two unciae), (12.12 g), obv. Mercury head in winged petasus two pellets above, rev. prow to right, above ROMA, below two pellets, (S.611, Cr.41/9, Syd.107, BMC 72). Attractive bottle green patina, struck on a large flan, very fine and scarce.
