REPUBLIC, Anonymous, (c.225-217 B.C.), possibly Rome mint, AE triens, (90.55 g), obv. Minerva helmeted head to left, four pellets below, rev. prow of galley to right with four pellets below, (S.578, Cr.35/3a, Thurlow & Vecchi 53, Syd.74). Green patina with some earthen encrustation, casting fault on obverse above head, very fine and very scarce.
