REPUBLIC, Anonymous, (275-270 B.C.), AE double litra, uncertain South Italian mint, (5.74 g), obv. female head (or possibly Apollo) to right, bound with ribbon, rev. lion walking right, ROMAN[O] in exergue, (S.590, Cr.16/1a, BMC 23, Syd.5). Deep green patina with some earthen encrustation, nearly very fine - very fine and rare.
