MYSIA, Pergamon, (c.95-92 B.C.), silver cistophoric tetradrachm, (12.65 g), obv. cista mystica containing serpent, all within ivy wreath, rev. bow in case between two coiled serpents, to left monogram of **PER*, above MA, to right serpent entwined thyrsus, (cf.S.3948, Kleiner [ANSMN 23], Type 3, Pinder 98, SNG von Aulock -). Brilliant, good very fine/nearly extremely fine and rare.
