MACEDON, Mark Antony, Thessalonica mint, an issue of Mark Antony and Octavian, AE 22, (10.22 g), [dated year 5 of the Antonian Era?], = (37 B.C.), obv. head of Agonothesia right, no E behind, to left and right around **AGWNOQ ESIA*, rev. ANT/ KAI in two lines within wreath, (S.-, Sear Imperators 673 variant, RPC I 1552 variant, cf.SNG ANS 819-22, cf.SNG Cop.375). Good fine with dark green patina and very rare variety.

Ex Dr Adrian Carr Collection and purchased from Hermes Coins in 2004.
