SCOTLAND, Edinburgh Burgess and Guild Ticket, 28 October 1817, named to William Muir, Merchant, Canongate in the presence of Alexander Henderson, Lord Dean of Guild of the City of Edinburgh, with one pound duty stamp affixed. Very good.

On 19 September 1822 Mr William Muir was approved then Entered, Passed and Raised to the sublime degree of a Master Mason in The Celtic Lodge, Edinburgh and Leith No.291.
