GERMANY, bayonet, WWI M1898 n/A (neuer art [newer model]) 2nd pattern with two-piece wood grip, for use with 8mm Mauser Gewehr 98, blade below guard impressed, 'Move-Werke/Walter & Co/Muhlhausen in Thr.', Royal Cypher of Wilhelm II of Wurttemberg on top of spine and on opposite side the letter 'H', in metal scabbard. Some light rust on scabbard, otherwise fine.

Taken from a fallen German soldier by Lt C.D.Lockhart.
