Alfred Neil King, blacksmith's striker, age 23, born at Tumut, NSW; Enl.13Aug1914 at Randwick, NSW, previous service of 2 years with School Cadets; Emb.18Oct1914; WIA 25Apr1915 at Gallipoli (landing day), bullet wound right shoulder; returned to duty 10Nov1915 to A&NZAC Base at Alexandria for Provost Duty; hospitalised on three occasions for VD treatment; RTA 25Aug1917; Disch.27Nov1917 as Medically Unfit; Re-Enl.18May1918 at Sydney; posted to Siege Brigade RAGA for training; Disch.Dec1920.
