CAPTAIN COOK, matching plates, one large serving plate (27cm), and smaller size (17cm), the first features a half figure image of Cook seated and holding a map, the second depicts the Endeavour under sail; another glass plate (25cm), with scalloped edge and painted blue and gold in the centre for 'Captain Cook Bicentennial British Columbia Canada', around the Endeavour under sail, around the edge are a variety of depictions relating to Captain Cook; another commemorates Captain Cook, Hawaii 1778, issued in 1978, in porcelain by Royal Copenhagen (18cm), in box of issue; also a Captain Cook set of placemats in celluware and cork by Pimpernel, features six mats each with a different scene relating to Captain Cook, in original box. The first with a few very small scratches, otherwise uncirculated. (5)
