USA, HAWAII, Capt James Cook Pacific Explorer, Hawaii Islands, Hawaii State, 1959, in gilt bronze (38mm) (2), milled edges, obverse, bust of Cook at left facing right, reverse, map of islands, titled 'Hawaii', with legend, 'Hawaii Islands'; Capt James Cook Pacific Explorer, Sandwich Islands 1779, Hawaii State Numismatic Association, 1964, in oxidised silvered (edge number 495), oxidised bronze (edge number 448) and dark bronze (unnumbered) (38mm) (3), obverse, same as first medal above, reverse, as for first medal but islands named 'Kealakekua Hawaii', and different legend, 'Owhyhee Sandwich Islands 1779'. Hairlines on third medal, otherwise extremely fine - uncirculated. (5)
