UNITED HOSPITALS ATHLETIC CLUB LONDON, 1921, in bronze (70mm), reverse inscribed, 1921/220 Yards/2nd/(Won By)/J C Ainsworth-Davis/St Barts'. Good very fine.

The club started on 31 may 1867 and hosted the annual United Hospitals athletics championships for its member medical schools.

The above medal winner, J.C.Ainsworth-Davis M.A., M.D., B.Ch. (Camb.), F.R.C.S. (Eng. & Ed.) wrote books such as Prevention and Treatment of Urethral Stricture of Inflammatory Origin, 1933, and Essentials of Urology, 1950. He also wrote numerous articles and was Urological Surgeon at The Bolingbroke Hospital London.
