ELIZABETH II, Royal Mint VIP proof set, 1967, one cent to one dollar (7 coins). In a Royal Mint plush case of issue, FDC and excessively rare, one of only 10 issued to a very select group of VIPs (see accompanying letter).

Ex Spink Noble Sale 42 (lot 1946) the Sir Robert Muldoon Collection and Brian Bolton Collection.

Together with a descriptive card, printed on the reverse 'Presented to Hon.R.D.Muldoon, M.P. by the New Zealand Government to mark the changeover to decimal currency' and a letter from the Office of Minister of Finance, Wellington N.Z., dated 10 July 1967 listing the 10 recipients of the 'Full Proof Coins'.
