CHINA, Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), silver drum shaped sycee ingot, Shanxi Province, trough ingot, a local tax ingot for Jin Yang County, flattened base oval sycee, reading on right side 'Jin Yang', left side Li Ju (smith), three and a half taels or 4.2 ounces (130.1 g), height 32mm, width 45mm, depth 21mm, (cf.Cribb -, type XLIIF), for similar size. Very fine, with chisel cut underneath near edge and rare.
