COMMONWEALTH, (1649-1660), silver shilling, 1653, mm sun (S.3217) (5.81 g). Double struck, thus on obverse Commonwealth has three M's and E is under A and on reverse T is over I, clipped flan, grey toned, good fine and unusual.
