AUGUSTUS, (27 B.C. - A.D. 14), silver denarius, uncertain Spanish mint (Colonia Patricia ?), issued c.20/19 - 17/16 B.C., (3.68 g), obv. laureate head of Augustus to right, rev. two laurel branches, CAESAR above and AVGVSTVS below, (cf.S.1600, RIC 51, RSC 47, BMC 352). Lightly toned, extremely fine and rare.
