SIEGE AND CAPTURE OF SERINGAPATAM, 1799, medal in bronze (48mm) by C.H.Kuckler, obv. lion r., subduing a tiger, a banner beyond with Union badge and Arabic inscription, IV.May.MDCCXCIX in exergue, rev. fortress of Seringapatam under attack, Persian inscription in exergue (Eimer 903). With original cardboard box of issue. Full bloom, mint red, very sharp strike, nearly FDC.
