ZEUGITANIA, Carthage, African Revolt (Libya), (c.241-238 B.C.), billon didrachm or shekel, (6.59 g), obv. head of Herakles left wearing lion skin, rev. **LIBUWN* in exergue, lion walking right, Punic "M" above. (S.6544, Carradice & La Niece, "The Libyan War and Coinage," Num. Chron 1988, 1, MAA 53, SNG Cop. 239; M ller 349). Porous fine and rare.
