ATTICA, Aegina, (500-480 B.C.), silver stater, (11.55 g), obv. smoothed shell sea turtle without row of dots down dorsal spine, with bankers mark of a head [Ammon] in centre of turtle, rev. 'incuse five sunken segments', [intentionally cut into the die], (S.1851, Asyut Group IIIa "thin collar", cf.438-465, SNG Delepierre 1629). Well centred, otherwise fine - very fine, worn obverse die.

Ex Noble Numismatics Sale 110 (lot 2689).
Asyut hoard suggests the chronology to be 500/490-480 B.C.
