MOESIA INFERIOR, Nicopolis ad Istrum, Septimius Severus, (A.D. 217-218), AE 15, (2.47 g), obv. laureate cuirassed head of Septimius Severus to right, around AV KAI CE. CEYHPOC, rev. Priapus standing to left, holding up dress and pointing to his phallus, around **NIKOPOLI PR* OC ICTP, (S.-, Varbanov 2530 [noted as R3], Pick 1380). Even dark brown patina, good very fine and rare.
