ANTONINUS PIUS, (A.D. 138-161), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued 148-9, (2.60 g), obv. ANTONINVS AVG PIVS P P TR P XII, laureate head to right, rev. COS IIII, Salus standing left, feeding snake rising from altar and holding rudder on globe, (S.4075, RIC 181, RSC 281). Toned, good very fine, scarce.
