HADRIAN, (A.D. 117-138), silver denarius, issued 117, Rome mint, (3.35 g), obv, laureate bust draped and cuirassed to right of Hadrian around IMP CAES TRAIAN HADRIANO AVG DIVI TRA, reverse, PARTH F DIVI NER NEP P M TR P COS around, Pax standing left holding olive branch and cornucopiae, PAX in exergue, (cf.S.3511, RIC 12, BMC 27 note, RSC 1011a). Off centred reverse, otherwise very fine and very scarce.
