GALBA, (A.D. 68-69), silver denarius, issued October - November 68, Rome mint, (3.14 g), obv. laureate head to right of Galba, around [IMP SER GALB]A CAESAR AVG, rev. around VICTORIA P R, Victory standing to left, holding wreath and palm, (S.2110, BMC 49, RIC 217, RSC 328). Toned, off centred with surface roughness, otherwise nearly extremely fine/very fine and rare.
