Japan, April 1871 imperf. issues, on thin native laid paper, 48 mon brown (2), 100 mon blue (3), 200 mon red (3), 500 mon green (5), each described on individual folder with plate number references and estimates, most with generous margins (SG 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8) all different by colour and plate (CV £5000+). Mostly fine used. (13)
