INDIA, E.I.C, Madras Presidency, Indian Style Coinage, Hindu System, Gold pagoda, c.1740-1807, Struck at Fort St. George (Madras) mint, (3.420 grams), obv. three standing half figure deities, (representing Vishnu as Venkatesvara and his two wives, Sridevi and Bhudevi), rev. granulated, (Pr.3B, KM. 304). Extremely fine or better and rare.

The real proclamation issue pagoda and not the issue of 1808 as illustrated by Andrews.
