GERMANY, Metz, free city (c.1450), silver groschen, (2.80 g), obv. cross stars in angles, legend within two inner circles, rev. St.Stephen, (Saurma 1890 [Pl.XXX, 922]). Slightly bent, very fine and rare.

Ex Decades Collection and acquired from Noble Numismatics Sale 84 (lot 2241) and previously from Dr Busso Peus, Auction Sale 232, October 23, 1991, (lot 734).
