GERMANY, Brunswick, Heinrich the Lion, (1142-1195), silver bracteate pfennig (0.80 g). ...BRVNNSVVICH DHVNE..., heraldic lion left, pellets-in-annulets in field, (Fiala 35; Bonhoff 363; L”bbecke 143; Reichmann -). Extremely fine, with old collection toning, slightly double struck, with 180 degrees rotation between strikes.

Ex Decades Collection and acquired from CNG Triton VIII Auction Sale, January 11-12, 2005 (lot 1544), coming from the Robert Schonwalter Collection.
