CHINA, Ming Dynasty, Emperor Tai Zu (13681-1398), round cash with square hole, value five, four characters around "Hong Wu tong bao", rev. one character "Wu" (value 5), diameter 36mm, (Hartill 20.98, Sch. -, TFP 1933). Brown patina, very fine and rare.
