CAPTAIN JAMES COOK, memorial medal in bronze (43mm) by L.Pingo for the Royal Society in 1784 (BHM 258; Eimer 780; MH 374). Attractive red and brown patina, nearly uncirculated.

Sold with the original shagreen case.
