PHOENICIAN WEIGHT, (400-300 B.C.), struck as a bronze block formed weight, 35x25x14 mm, (83.88 g) (of weight = eight shekels), (see Malter Sale XXVI, May, 20, 1984 [lot 28-29, similar examples). Incuse Phoenician script on back, very fine and rare.
