ZENO, (A.D. 474-491), AE nummus, Constantinople mint, (1.22 g), obv. obv. laureate bust of Zeno to right, around trace of letters, D N ZENO AV, REV. monogram of Zeno in wreath, uncertain mint mark below, [KOC], (S.21562, RIC 961-2, NN&M 148, No.899-911). Very fine/good fine and rare.

Ex D.J.Foster Collection and previously from Spink Noble Sale 42 (lot 2182) and previously from Glendining's London, July 12, 1979 (lot 607 part).
