AELIA FLACCILLA, wife of Theodosius I, (died A.D. 386), AE double centenionalis or maiorina, Nicomedia mint, issued A.D. 378-383, (5.71 g), obv. draped bust of Aelia Flaccilla to right, around AEL FLAC CILLA AVG, rev. Victory seated right inscribing christogram on shield set on cippus, around SALVS REIPVBLICAE, T in left field, in exergue SMN**G*, (S.20614, RIC 42, C.4). Very fine or better, scarce.
