GORDIAN III, (A.D. 238-244), silver antoninianii, Rome mint, issued 243-4 obv. radiate bust right, around IMP GORDIANVS PIVS FEL AVG, rev. FORTVNA REDVX, Fortuna seated left, holding rudder and cornucopiae, (S.8613, RIC 210, RSC 98a); another similar obverse, rev. CONCORDIA AVG, Concordia seated to left, holding patera and double cornucopiae, (S.8604, RIC 35, RSC 50); another similar obverse, rev. FELICIT TEMP, Felicitas standing to left holding spear and cornucopiae, (S.8607, RIC 140, RSC 71); another similar obverse, rev. VIRTVTI AVGVSTI, Hercules standing to right, holding lion skin and club, (S.8670, RIC 95, RSC 404). All very fine or better in holders described together with descriptive envelope. (4)
