JULIA TITI, daughter of Titus, (died A.D. 83), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued c.A.D. 81-2, (2.95 g), obv. draped bust of Julia Titi to right, with diadem on hair, obv. IVLIA AVGVSTA TITI AVGVSTI F around, rev. Venus standing to right, leaning on column, holding helmet and sceptre, around VENVS AVGVST, (S.2612, RIC 56 (Titus), BMC 141). Porous and rough surface, otherwise very fine and rare.

Ex D.J.Foster Collection and previously from Spink Noble Auction Sale 47 (lot 2127).
