DRUSUS, son of Tiberius, (died A.D. 23), AE as, Rome mint, issued under Tiberius, A.D. 22-23, (10.89 g), obv. bare head of Drusus to left, around DRVSVS CAESAR TI AVG F DIVI AVG N, rev. PONTIF TRIBVN POTEST ITER around, S C across field in centre, (S.1793, RIC 45, BMC 99). Attractive dark tone, good very fine and rare in this condition.

Ex D.J.Foster Collection and previously from Noble Numismatics Sale 49 (lot 2161).
