MARK ANTONY, (32-31 B.C.), silver denarius, mint moving with Mark Antony, (3.56 g), obv. praetorian galley to right with rowers etc., around legends ANT AVG III VIR. R.P.C., rev. legionary eagle between two standards, LEG XI below, (S.1479, Cr.544/25, Syd.1229, C. Mark Antony 39). Toned, some hoard patination, off centred reverse, otherwise fine.

Ex D.J.Foster Collection and previously from Glendining's London, March 19, 1974 (lot 396 part).
