PALESTINE, Hamashbir Co-operative, grocery chit for one mil, c1922, handsigned in two places, only one serial number, S351? (cfHaffner CO-11). Glued into a blue cardboard holder of the Universal A.I.R.C.R. Administration Committee, fair.

With a penned note "First Hebrew money after 18 centuries, issue 1922, now out of print". This chit differs from the illustrated example in Haffner having only a top serial number and a further signature at bottom right.
