ITALY, Bruttium, Croton (Kroton), (c.520 B.C.), silver nomos, stater or didrachm (7.365 grams), obv. Delphic tripod with three handles and legs terminating in lion's feet, on dotted base, QPO to left, rev. Delphic tripod incuse in flan, (S.225, SNG ANS 230 [same dies], SNG Manchester 306, SNG Cop. 1735, Gale 1, BMC 3). Nearly very fine and rare.
