ASIA MINOR, Cappadocia, Caesarea, Nero and Divus Claudius, (54-68 A.D.), issued 54-58 A.D., silver tetradrachm, 13.26 grams, S.640, BMC 171 (Antioch, Seleucis and Pieria, p.172), SNG Cop. 178 (Pl.5), Sydenham 64, Hunterian 83 (p.153), Obv. Around [NERO CLA]VD DIVI CLAVD F CAESAR AVG [GER], head of Nero to r., laureate, Rev. Around [DIVO]S CLAVD AVG GERMANIC [PATER AVG] Claudius to r. laureate. Very fine, weak on most of the legends, scarce, (737).

This issue has changed attribution. Initially attributed to Antioch by BMC et al. Sydenham 'Coinage of Caesarea' attributed this issue to Caesarea and this has become the accepted mint of issue.
