VAN DIEMEN'S LAND, Bill of Exchange or sight note, the third, Union Bank of Australia, Issued at 1 p/cent prem., Hobart Town 3 June 1844 No. 300, to G. Butler for £450.0.0 stg., stamped signed J.F.Groom, signed on the back 4th June Sent Cop 1st of Exchange W.Kinnead. Faded blue print, however very fine or better and very rare, a most early Union Bank form.
