THE BANK OF AUSTRALASIA, second issue, proof five pounds, uniface, Christchurch, 12th Septr. 1865, imprint of Perkins, Bacon & Co. London, Patent Hardened Steel Plate, 'from this' added in pencil in Manager area at bottom (Robb B.24b; L.402; P.S112). Remnants of glue on back corners, otherwise good very fine.
