ANCIENT INDIA, The Satavahanas, Gautamiputra Satakarni, early - mid late 1st century A.D. (53-78 A.D.), overstruck on Nahapana, silver (2.29 g), 15mm, obv. overtrike a six arched hill, with dots within hills, rev, Satavahana symbol four circles with dots all joined by lines, (Pieper, 'Ancient Indian Coins Revisited" No.684 [p.280-281], M.1334 [1975-6], Mitch, 'Karnataka Andhra' 142-145). Clear under type, very fine and rare.
