WEST INDIES, Tortola, 1801, silver quarter dollar, a cut quarter segment of a Mexico City Mint eight reales countermarked with 'Tortola' (type 1a) in relief within a shaped indent (Pr.3b; KM.6). Old scratch, very good, countermark very fine and rare.
