QUEEN VICTORIA, first type, 1855, with filletted head of Victoria left by James Wyon. Date and obverse legend slightly double entered, two obverse scratches, otherwise good fine and a good example of this rarity, among the finest twelve known.
Originally acquired in Sydney in the 1940s and ex Noble Numismatics Sale 84 (lot 1285A).
