PRIMITIVE MONEY, Africa, Nigeria?, uncertain area currency, large iron earrings with circle end for attachment to ear with flat kidney shaped ending, length 10.5cm, external width 6.5cm., weight 45 and 51 g; (Opitz -). Very fine and rare.
These unusual shaped objects could also have been used as currency.
