Named medals impressed. Display court mounted, extremely fine.

Daron Adrian Hamilton, born 06Mar1971 and enlisted on 13Dec1988 at Huddersfield. His certificate of service states that he served 14 years with 5th Regt RA, 22nd Regt RA and 26th Regt RA. He deployed on operations and exercises around the world and in particular Cyprus, Northern Ireland, Germany and Yugoslavia. In total he served for 15 years and 110 days. LBDR Hamilton was trained as an Air Missile system operator and as a driver. During his career he also passed the following courses, RA - Leadership Course (BDR), Helicopter Rigger/Marshaller (RM), RA - Driver (Advanced), All Arms Storeman Basic, Unit Ammunition Storeman, AFV Recognition Instructors, Canoeing ACU Proficiency. He held the following qualifications, Gunner Command Systems - Air Defence Level 3, Rigger Marshaller, Unit Ammunition Storeman, Authorised Representative, Surface to Air Missile (Rapier Field Standard B), Dog Handler (Unspecified), J S Senior Kayak Instructor (Sea).

His Army service reference states that LBDR Hamilton had a varied career and had risen to the numerous challenges placed before him and shown excellent adaptability in mastering all. He was a popular member of the Regiment and was a loss to the Army.
