AUSTRALIAN DEFENCE CANTEENS, Eastern command, internment prisoner of War Camp No 7 (punched in) canteen coupon book by A.H Pettifer, Acting Government Printer containing one of 1d (blue), 2d, 3d (yelloe) and 4d (red), BOOK No. 010965. Very fine and very rare.
The canteen service took over the operation of all canteens in the camps in September 1941. Ex Peter E. Williams Collection.
