SICILY, Himera, (c.530-482 B.C. [Sear], 480/78-470 B.C. [Westermark]), silver didrachm, (8.46 g), obv. cock with closed wings strutting to left, HIMERA before, rev. crab within circular incuse circular field, (S.718, cf.Westermark 13-18 [same obverse die. obv.4, rev.-], ACNAC Rosen 55, SNG Fitz 1024). Nearly extremely fine and very rare.

Only 196 didrachms of all dies were recorded by Westermark in 1999.
