HUDSON'S FEDERAL HOTEL, Urandangie, Queensland, uniface ten shillings, currency note, not dated, (192- printed), numbered No. A 507, unsigned, no watermark, no imprint, on front 'Hudson's Federal Hotel, Urandangie', below 'The Queensland National Bank Limited, Cloncurry, Please pay the Bearer on Demand the Sum of Ten Shillings', within rectangular mauve border, mauve on white, with impressed duty payment, (This note illustrated in Vort-Ronald Shinplaters p56). Minor creases, rust stains, corner missing, otherwise very fine and very rare.
Ex Noble Numismatics Sale 58 (lot 4866). A very rare "shinplaster" issue from Northern Queensland.
